My White House Souvenir – Fun Photo From Washington D.C.

Do you buy those little replica souvenirs?  A Statue of Liberty, an Eiffel Tower, they seem to have everything but a replica White House souvenir, so I took my own:

Have you been to the White House?  Did you take a White House souvenir? Do you take goofy photos like this when you travel?

Changing the subject quite a bit: Did you have a chance to solve the missing face on the cake mystery from yesterday?

  7. I don’t buy any of those kinds of things. I’ve not been to the White House nor will I ever go. There are many places in the U.S. I would love to visit, but Washington D. C. isn’t on that list.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  12. This is so neat. With the angle of the camera, it actually looks like you’re picking up a piece from the Game of Life board game.

  13. Heather- acting balanced says:

Wow… Wonder why they aren’t cashing in on the miniature White House collecting market?

  14. Haha, love that! We took some photos holding the Eiffel Tower when we were in Europe this summer!

  21. I think the Kids in the Hall did a routine where they would squish someones head like this! They would yell, “I am squishing your head!” lol Glad you got your souvenir!

  22. We do take silly pictures, and I didn’t see any White House souvenirs when we were there either. We did get a really cool Supreme Court Building (Christmas) ornament up the road a bit, years ago. :)

Now I’m headed over to take a look at the ‘missing face on the cake’ post. :)

How fun! The only time I’ve gone to DC was the year after 9/11, so we weren’t allowed to take a tour or anything; we were never that close to the White House.

  24. Hahah! I love your souvenir! I haven’t been, but my husband went with my daughter in April for her 8th grade field trip. It was right after they closed down the tours, so they didn’t get to go in. They were pretty bummed!

  25. Love it!!
