I am not a huge fan of horses, so it seemed like a perfect day for a bit of separation. The girls rode off with Alberto, another 14 year old and saw the hills and beach around Santillana Del Mar. Fun in Lugo, The City With the World's Only Completely Intact Roman Wall

How many medieval Spanish cities can we visit? We had the same thought as we took a day trip to Lugo near our home exchange house in A Coruña, Spain. What makes Lugo unique? It is the only city in the world to be surrounded by a completely intact Roman walls, which we walked along. After that, we had a bit of fun in Lugo, starting at this statue in the town square.
