Horse Riding in Santillana Del Mar

I am not a huge fan of horses, so it seemed like a perfect day for a bit of separation.  The girls rode off with Alberto, another 14 year old and saw the hills and beach around Santillana Del Mar.  Then they came back through the old town. Hubby and I saw the cafes in town, a cafe con leche here, a chocolate dessert there. Everyone was happy. Santiallana Del Mar is one of several fantastic little towns in the Cantabric region of Spain that we spent a bit of time exploring.  This puts us on the Northern edge of [Read More]

Here are the highlights from some of the other medieval towns we visited in Costa Brava, all in one day, as we followed a self guided driving tour.  First stop Torrent, with its narrow streets and archways:   Next we visited Sant Julie [Read More]
