Probably not the moving houses you were expecting, but I am pretty sure these dancing moving houses are the silliest thing I have seen this week.
Moving Houses
I took this photo yesterday at the Chinese Lantern Festival celebrating the Chinese New Year in Auckland, New Zealand. It’s a walking ad for Barfoot and Thompson Real Estate agency. When the “moving houses” saw me and my camera they stopped and posed. The thumbs up on the left “house” made sense to me, but what is the other guy doing with his hands?

Every year we talk about going to the Lantern festival, but this is the first year we made it up there.

My nephew took the job in Auckland, and I am excited to know he will be stepping into your world come July. My little grand niece will love seeing these sorts of things and everything else wonderful about New Zealand. Please take care of them and don’t let any dragons eat Daria.

That must have been so much fun! I thought that there will be some de-mountable houses are some high-tech kinetic architectural structures, but I really don’t feel disappointed, or at least in the best way: you have put a huge smile on my face with your pics! The houses are fun and silly. I think the one on the right is trying to depict a haunted house.

It’s the first photo – the houses have legs, they are walking – ergo moving houses? It’s a pun.
Maybe he’s a haunted house and that’s what he’s trying to tell you with his hands? Looks like a scary monster pose!
