Sadly, even cute animals bite.
We know this from the warning signs at Sheep World. Yes, I actually did go to this totally tourist destination about an hour North of Auckland, New Zealand. I was joined by hubby, my niece from Chicago, my Kiwi neighbor and my friend from Australia. We are quite a contrast in backgrounds, but we all had a blast.
As for the potential animal bites, we didn’t worry about it. They were really cute animals so we got our bag of feed and away we went down the path.
We were quite a bit early for the sheep show, so we had plenty of time to stroll around the grounds.
First we ignored the initial sign.
Then we started feeding the animals. Well, not all of us. My girls were in schools so they missed out, my neighbor and Aussie friend chose to have a cup of coffee, I am the photographer, hubby had a valid excuse for not feeding them although I can’t quite remember what it was. So, left the entire bag of food form my niece.
She was thrilled.
And not a care in the world. I mean how can you even imagine being bit by an alpaca, a bunny or a lamb. What about donkeys, pigs, or sheep? How about the ducks?
Well guess who found out first hand that cute animals bite.
Now for the real guessing game for this Silly Sunday – Which one of these adorable animals bit my niece?
Which One of these Animals Bite?
Donkey?
Emu?
Lambs?
PS – Lot’s of drama here – it wasn’t actually a “bite.” More like a nibble. No, even less than that . . .
What ever we call it, I present it to you for Silly Sunday.

They were all so cute, but I agree – I
wouldn’t trust them either– but I didn’t want to take away any of my nieces fun. As for your guess, sorry not the bunnies.Your niece is very cute, so you can’t blame them for nibbling! Thank goodness she didn’t get hurt. She must be very brave like her auntie!

Aren’t you sweet. She was a bit startled, but not even a momentary marking on her arm.
I could see each and every one of those animals taking a nibble out of her.

Nope it was only one
I’m going to guess that the Emu did.
How fun. I love to go to these kind of places.
Have a terrific Silly Sunday. ☺

It wasn’t the emu. It might have been, but she is a quick learner and by this point already knew to keep a bit of cautious distance.
I’m going to guess that bunny did it. LOL! Was there a candlestick involved?
It is a sad fact that cute animals bite.I guess any animal with teeth can potentially put the bite on you.
Happy Silly Sunday!

They are animals, and quite cute ones too !
I’m guessing the emu.
Your niece is really pretty and I can very much see the family resemblance. She’s a lot like you and Melissa
Sorry, it’s not the emu. I can see the resemblance more in the photos. There are a few more of us in the family. No question we are all related when we are together.
Those lamb are adorable, I couldn’t picture myself that they could bite, I think they just want to eat. Although I admit it, sometimes the cutest animals are the most aggressive, just like the swans, they are beautiful and elegant but very unfriendly and aggressive, they protect their territory really hard. Once I have been bit by one, although I only wanted to stroke her.

No, it wasn’t a lamb that bit her.
