Wow, what an adventure. We are back in New Zealand. Yes, after 26 countries, 4 continents and 2 boxes of diarrhea pills we have returned home.
Our first day home seems a funny time to participate in a blog hop. If you are wondering, “Rhonda, what were you thinking when you signed up for the “Oh, How I Miss You Blogfest” don’t worry, you are not alone, I am wondering the same.
Maybe it is because I wasn’t actually in Casablanca yesterday. I blogged everyday as we traveled. The blog fell behind from days without internet. This explains the math, we didn’t complete 42 hours of travel in just a day, we have been getting over our jet-lag for a bit.
The idea behind this blogfest is to “highlight bloggers we really miss…and the ones we would really miss!” So, lets get started with:
The Bloggers I Miss:
With a slight twist of the guidelines I offer my apologies to the bloggers I miss the most as they are the ones I had to stop following while I traveled. They are still out there, but I was so busy climbing mountains, cruising the seas, riding on strange animals, eating random foods, visiting more churches, castles, mosques and Kasbahs that I can count and of course, complaining about unsanitary (at best) toilet conditions, that I seemed absent from their blogging world.
My list is long, the rules say 1-3, so the first three to come to mind are Julie of Empty Nest Insider, Tara of Tara Tyler Talks and Alex of Alex J. Cavanaugh (co-host of today’s blogfest along with Andrew Leon, Matthew MacNish)
The Bloggers I Would Miss (oh, please don’t ever go!):
Again, the rules suggest only three. (Sorry Tony, if the Laugh Line blogged more often you would have made the list). As we traveled there were three bloggers who followed us everyday, helped us out when we needed it and always made me laugh. So not only are they the bloggers I would most miss, this is a great opportunity for me to say thanks to BeThere2Day, Comedy Plus and Catch My words.
Here is a recent favorite joke from each:
BeThere2Day: I have no idea where Steve so many very funny laughs nearly everyday Here is one of my all time favorite laughs from BeThere2Day:
