Flam Norway is our amazing destination for the day
As we continued to sail north, the days got longer, until it was never dark outside. We were headed to Flåm one of the most beautiful spots I have ever seen. On our way, we had a full day at sea and woke up on the third morning to exquisite views out the cabin window. Even with that, it wasn’t until we went out on deck that the massive beauty took my breath away.
We took the big excursion as Flåm is the highlight of this cruise. It included a coach trip up the fjords and two trains down, including the world famous Flam railroad. The local guide was great – the crew from the ship are another story. On the train they actually sat together at two window seats and told my girls they had to sit with strangers as there were no seats together. Makes you roll your eyes and wonder if MSC offers any customer service training to its staff.
But we got it fixed and it didn’t spoil our day. Here are a few of my photos, none do this place justice:
What do you think of Flam Norway? Do the photos show the beauty?

Travel Counter: We are in the third month of our 250 day overseas adventure. We were actually in Flåm on June 11 as we were cruising on the MSC Opera, however we had no internet access on the ship.
