PS: We visited the Sydney Sculptures By the Sea on Bondi Beach as part of my birthday weekend. Hubby is NOT in the dog house. (FYI – Sydney is in Australia, which is NOT New Zealand).

Quite bizarre. I love this weekly journey to places I had no idea existed…

This is a special event. I think they said it was the world’s largest of it’s kind and it is only in Sydney from 3 -20 Nov, 2011. We were just lucky to be there during that time.
You have reached your fun quotient for the year. No more. It’s time to let other folks have fun.
Love the faucet!

I knew you would love the faucet. I thought of you when I saw it, and that time you saw someone with a faucet on their head when you were visiting me in Chicago – a long time ago.
What great pictures
Love it!! Thanks for sharing and thanks for linking up at Africa’s Blog!!

Lovely pis. I grew up in Bondi so now you know. These days I stay away from the ocean incase I melt.

Are you still in Sydney? I wonder if I did know that from when you wrote that page on Jessica Watson. You should have hooked up with Lynn and I. We had a blast.

I am glad you got there. Hope it was worth it and sorry I missed it. The shots you have here are great. I really must try to get there next year.

Thanks so much for suggesting it. If you get a chance, go – but not on a weekend if you can avoid it. I heard it was really crowded.
I want to go there. How fun. Looks so warm and inviting.
Have a terrific day.

Sydney was awesome! And lot’s of travel on ferries so you will love it
Some of those are really neat! So she is the one with the microwave door under her bed? Hmm. She looks quite normal otherwise.
Happy WW! And having raised 3 teens, if a microwave door under the bed is the biggest puzzle she puts upon you, you’re lucky.

Yep, that’s my teen. She is pretty normal.
Love those sculptures. So creative. I love the “Filling up the sea” one the best.

Thanks. I don’t think that was really it’s name, but it is just what my photo looked like from that angle.
These are brilliant Rhonda I have not seen anything like it, probably cos most of our beaches are crap LOL, love the illusion ones and the taps

LOL Steve, your WW post today would fit right in, so you maybe your beaches are crap but your sculptures are pretty good
Haha, pic nr. 2! I couldn’t resist either if I was there! But to be honest, that red sitting sculpture is weird!
Anna recently posted..Dental crown – Is it worth destroying your teeth for it?
A lot of them were weird
But it’s art. I can’t always understand it, but I can always giggle if necessary
Amazing photos!
