Technically she was shopping at Walmart on Thanksgiving, the eve of Black Friday.
So, my question today: What is Silly?
According to the Oxford American dictionary it is an adjective meaning, “having or showing a lack of common sense or judgment; absurd and foolish.”
But to me, Silly is visiting a Walmart on Black Friday, fighting for a $2 Waffle maker that only makes two small waffles and not remembering to put on a belt before heading out in the morning. . .
Was that Silly, or do other words pop into your head? What do you think?
However you define Silly this week, link up a post that will make us laugh, giggle or at least smile a lot:

Speaking of Silly, I was a bit silly when I came off the picket fence. It knocked me off of page one, so please help me out and click on this fence button (you can do it everyday if you like):

I didn’t know that there was a mini-riot since I only see the shoppers after their Wal-mart shopping. It must be tough to shop just to get good deals. I remember this kind of riot during Christmas shopping rush, where everyone is eager to squeeze into the crowds. I found the situation funny when the pants fell down. Anyway, thanks for sharing the funny video.

Yep, it was the pants that got me laughing too. BTW- I didn’t name the video, it was named when it was posted.
That is funny to watch the crazies on the go.

Thanks Russ. Happy to make you smile today
OMG total nutcases the screaming cracked me up LOL
We had something about this on our UK news the other day it was at the end when they show something lighthearted heheh!
Yep, I am out of the US as well – maybe that’s why I find it so funny
Good grief! That woman;s bit butt about did me in.
Have a terrific Silly Sunday.
I was debating if it was a “Silly Sunday” item, then the butt and I knew it belonged.
When it comes to Black Friday, I have a simple motto; Stay Away, Stay Very Far Away. Silly is not quite the word I would use for it.

No black Friday here in New Zealand. No Thanksgiving, no day after, so it is easy for me to stay far away
Hi,
Just found your website from your profile in Wizzley. Nice job.
That gal should have been in the plumber’s aisle!

Welcome Bruce and thanks for reading me at Wizzley too. Love the plumber comment – LOL
Another word that pops into my mind is: insane! My comic today is very a-propos!

LOL – I can’t wait to see your comic, although I doubt it will top your crush of the week. Great choice. Insane is a good word for that too, only it has a different meaning.
Nancy said what I was thinking.
The first word that came to mind when I was reading this was insane. That was way beyond silly.
Insane is a good word. So is scary
One of the few things I do NOT miss about the US.. Wal-mart..thanks for sharing!!
LOL – I do miss the low Walmart prices, but I would never have gone to a sale like this. I really don’t like crowds.
